Summer Studio

O'More Summer Studio, interior design Nashville, TN, graphic design, fashion merchandising school and design school creative careers.

Are you looking for an exciting, creative environment that far exceeds the average art camp? The Summer Studio at O’More offers an eclectic and inspirational setting that will introduce budding artists, in grades 1-12, to new media and techniques by seasoned professionals. Young artists will be guided and instructed by art educators, professors and professional artists. After a week of serious art-making, each student will have created an array of high-quality pieces to share with friends and family. We offer a diverse course schedule that caters to all artists. These classes range from drawing and painting to fashion illustration to digital design. With four sessions offered throughout the summer, you are able to plan the perfect art experience that best fits your schedule.

Our Summer Studio courses are half-day experiences, either morning or afternoon.  AM courses run from 9:00am to 12:00pm, with our afternoon courses occurring from 12:30pm-3:00pm.  The cost of each course is $200, with a one-time registration fee of $50.  Many students choose to register for both AM and PM classes and thus stay on campus all day, enjoying a 30 minute lunchtime with their peers and instructors.  We have a quaint tea room on campus, Cafe Eloise, which is available during the day for students to purchase snacks and lunch during break times.

At the end of the summer, a culminating gallery event for the Summer Studio will be held during the August Franklin Art Crawl in which the students are able to experience the privilege of having their work displayed in O’More’s Robert N. Moore Jr. Gallery.  Judges will select the best overall pieces for ribbon and scholarship awards.

Dive into this professional art program, and embrace the experience of a lifetime.

Information for the 2018 Summer Studio will be available in January and registration begins February 1.  Classes fill quickly as we aim to keep low student to instructor ratios to provide the best experience and maintain proper one on one instruction.
