Auditing

An auditing student is one who wishes to take a class only for the benefit of the lectures and not for credit.

Students who wish to audit a class need to complete the following simple steps:

  1. Complete the online application and pay the $50 application fee.

O’More classes may be audited under the following conditions:

  • When classroom space is available;
  • With the Department Chair’s permission;
  • When payment of an audit fee, which is half of the regular tuition, is made; and
  • When all applicable fees are paid before the first class. No credit will be awarded for audited courses.

Under the auditing condition, instructors will not be expected to counsel, provide individual attention, or administer and evaluate exams. A student may change from audit to full credit status prior to the third class meeting by obtaining the permission of the instructor, notifying the registrar, submitting all necessary credentials, and paying the remaining cost of the full course tuition.

Alumni of O’More College may audit one class/semester at no cost, as long as they become or already are members of the O’More Alumni Association. Alumni wishing to audit a class should contact the Office of Student Affairs.
