01 Nov Interior Design Students Impact Lynchburg, Tennessee
In the Spring of 2017, O’More Faculty Susan Besser will be leading Interior Design students in a unique opportunity to work with the town of Lynchburg, Tennessee, to help create a more historically appropriate streetscape. With its close proximity to the Jack Daniels Distillery, this charming town has 300,000 visitors a year. They are looking to O’More to provide them with storefront elevations which will provide a guide to business owners as they do rehabilitations. As part of this semester students will gain a working knowledge of American historic styles and their origins and have the rewarding experience of playing a part in historic preservation.
