Jamie Atlas

Jamie Atlas, Chair

Jamie has over 26 years of experience as an industry and higher education professional with 15 of those years at O’More. Prior to joining the O’More family, she worked in the areas of buying, product development, marketing, management, visual merchandising, and operations with department and specialty stores, and online retailers. She is an active member of the International Textile and Apparel Association (ITAA), and the Nashville Fashion Alliance (NFA). Jamie’s top priority and passion is advising students, and setting them up for success.
Kevin Crouch

Kevin Crouch, Professor

Kevin has been a member of the faculty for 14 years. He has extensive experience in costume design, styling and visual merchandising. Kevin has worked with Walt Disney Imagineering, Filoso Mannequins, Nevada Dance Theater, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale’s, and Macy’s. He is also an accomplished author. Works include Sun King, Gospel According to Elvis Presley and Borrowed Lives. Kevin leads our advanced design studio classes, and Evolution of Fashion. As a full-time faculty member he also serves as an advisor to our students.
Jenny Kemala

Jenny Kemala, Professor

Full-time faculty member Jenny Kemala has shared her love for design and education for the past 9 years with O’More. She has an extensive background in alteration and custom work. Jenny has also traveled to Indonesia to the cities of Bali and Java to study the art of batik design. She teaches courses in construction, pattern making, draping, and silk embroidery. In addition Jenny is the faculty mentor for the student-run O’More Fashion Association.

Hannah Jones

Hannah is the co-owner and designer for the Nashville-based brand Jamie and the Jones where traditional textile techniques are modernized to create clothing that is timeless and one-of-a-kind. Hannah teaches Illustration I, II and III, Business and Portfolio Development, and is instrumental in the success of the annual Fashion Show.

Annette Medcalf, Professor of Practice

Annette joined O’More’s faculty 5 years ago as an adjunct instructor, and most recently as a full-time professor of practice. Annette shares her 30 years of experience in product development and management, operations and finance, and manufacturing with students in the fashion program. Annette’s course load includes Apparel Manufacturing, Fashion Textiles, and a number of merchandising classes.
Ona Rex (3)

Ashley Balding, Instructor

Ashley immediately launched Ona Rex in 2014 upon graduating from O’More. Ona Rex is a luxury women’s wear line that focuses on classic and unique garments. Ashley has also worked with Otis James, Ceri Hoover, and currently works with Jamie and the Jones. Needless to say, Ashley loves staying busy and one of her other passions is education. She lends her expertise in the areas of construction and patterning in the design department.

Alice Hilton, Instructor

Alice is a Product Manager for Simplicity Creative Group where she designs and launches products for major and minor craft retailers. Her strengths also lie within trend research and analyzing data. Prior to joining Simplicity Creative Group, Alice was a pattern maker and product development coordinator for Hartmann Luggage. Alice joined the department in spring 2016, and lends her expertise in business and design in the classroom as one of our merchandising faculty members.

Tony Perrin, Instructor

Tony has extensive knowledge in the area of accessory and apparel design, brand development, graphic design, and trend analysis. Tony has worked with companies that include Walt Disney, BCBG Max Azria Group, Vivienne Tam, Calvin Klein, Isaac Mizrahi, Ralph Lauren and Helmut Lang. He founded AMP Creative Industries, and Lock and Key. Tony is also a professional dancer and has been dancing since the age of seven. He heads up our digital-based courses in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

Stephanie Reese, Instructor

Stephanie has 15 years of experience in the fashion industry with eight of those years as an educator. She has extensive knowledge with the entire product process from concept to retail. Stephanie is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Fashion Design with Savannah College of Art and Design, and looking forward to completing her degree in December 2017. She is joining O’More’s fashion program this fall as the instructor for Introduction to Fashion.
