Experience the Summer Studio.
Are you looking for an exciting, creative environment that far exceeds the average art camp? The Summer Studio at O’More offers an eclectic and inspirational setting that will introduce budding artists to new media and techniques by seasoned professionals. Tucked away in a secluded Franklin safe-haven and surrounded by nature, students can stumble upon a Koi pond and explore cobblestone paths as they dream up new ideas. In class artists will be guided and instructed by art educators, professors and professional artists as well. After a week of serious art-making, each student will have created an array of high-quality finished art pieces to share with friends and family.
We offer a diverse course schedule that caters to all artists from grades first through twelfth. These classes range from drawing and painting to fashion illustration to digital design. With four sessions offered throughout the summer, you are able to plan the perfect art experience that best fits your schedule.
At the end of the summer, a culminating gallery event for the Summer Studio will be held where the students are able to experience the privilege of having their work shown to others. This year we will showcase the beautiful new gallery space in the mansion’s elite coffeehouse. Judges will select the best overall pieces for scholarship awards.
Dive into this exemplary quality, professional art program, and embrace the experience of a lifetime. Summer Studio at O’More exists to take students to the next level of art education and nurture their natural artistic talents and abilities into refined strengths. Take the journey with us, and experience the Summer Studio.
