Dale Addy, Instructor
B.S., California Polytechnic State University
For the past 14 years, Mr. Addy has created advertising campaigns and design pieces for a wide variety of clients, including: Belmont University, Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum, Healthcare Management Systems, Jack Daniel Distillery, Johnston & Murphy, Nissan North America, Inc., Permobil, Inc., Saturn Corporation, and Toshiba Consumer Products. His work has been honored by the National Gold ADDY Awards, London International Advertising Award, New York Film Festival Award, One Show, and Print and Telly Awards. Dale also actively participates in a number of annual fundraising events, such as Adventure Science Center's Caper, The Birdhouse Thing for W.O. Smith School of Music, and "Chair"ish the Kids for Kids on the Block. 
 

Jan Cook, Instructor
B.S., Middle Tennessee State University
Ms. Cook has been working in the field of design for 25+ years. From graphic design for publications and advertising, to print management, to video production, she has experience in many facets of design. For the past 15 years, Ms. Cook has managed the creative dept for EMI CMG, utilizing some of the best creative talent in the business, both experienced as well as up and coming in the realm of photographers, designers, and stylists. As creative director, she manages 100+ CD and marketing campaigns each year including art directing photo shoots and consulting with artists for imaging needs, plus overseeing design of CD covers and packaging. She is a member of both the GMA and NARAS. Her work has been recognized by both the AAF, as well as the GMA for Dove Award and nominations.

Dale Crawford, Instructor
B.F.A., Ringling School of Art and Design
Mr. Crawford is an internationally published illustrator, fine art painter, and portrait artist. His paintings are included in many private collections, and he has been an exhibitor at the Museum of American Illustration. Dale has created artwork for a variety of clients such as MCA Records, The Opera Company of Philadelphia, Lipton Tea, Campbell Soup, Running Press, Provident Insurance, and Warner Brothers. His designs and illustrations have adorned many top selling products for such stores as Barnes & Noble, Borders, Costco, and Target. His illustration work has been recognized by the Society of Illustrators and the Philadelphia Art Directors Club, and Dale was featured on the DVD documentary for the making of God's Country; George Jones and Friends tribute album for which he painted the cover art.

Susan DeGarmo, Assistant Professor
B.F.A. Memphis College of Art
Ms. DeGarmo has been a professional graphic designer for twenty-four years and has designed everything from license plates to CDs and has illustrated greeting cards and books. Additionally, she has served as a partner in a design firm, an art director for a children's magazine, and the Department Chair for a design college. She has also served on the Board of Governors for NARAS in Memphis and won several awards for her three-dimensional illustrations.

Jeff Fuqua, Associate Professor
B.F.A., Middle Tennessee State University
An award-winning print and web designer, Mr. Fuqua worked as designer for the South's largest public relations agencies before starting his own firm in 1990. For the past 20 years, he's worked with clients such as the Tennessee Beef Industry Council, Money Management Educators, Tennessee Titans, Metro Health Department, Captain D's, and Williamson Medical Center. Department Chair since 2004, Mr. Fuqua hires and evaluates faculty, develops curriculum, advises students, and teaches several design courses.

Joshua Lomelino, Associate Professor and Interim Chair

M.A., Savannah College of Art and Design
B.S., Illinois State University
Mr. Lomelino owns and operates Anomaly Studios, a design firm specializing in graphic design, interactive design, and animation. He is a member of the Golden Key International Society and is an award-winning animator. Lomelino's past projects include work in the areas of interactive design, animated films, 3D product visualization, 3D special effects, game development, and programming. He is the co-author and animator of the children's animated movie In the Beginning There Were Dinosaurs, author of Animation School, and has developed several learning-management technologies which are used internationally by colleges and universities.

Ryan Myers, Instructor
B.A., Olivet Nazarene University
Mr. Myers is an award-winning graphic designer, consultant, and principal of UD+M, a branding + marketing studio based in Franklin, Tennessee. After relocating from Chicago in 2006, he began working as an art director for one of Nashville's top advertisng agencies with such clients as Bridgestone Americas, State Water Heaters racing team, and Lowe's. Started in 2007, UD+M has worked with clients ranging from non-profit organizations to retail products to B2B companies to create branding solutions specific to their needs.

Doug Regen, Instructor
B.F.A., University of Tennessee, Knoxville
For over 25 years Doug has been in the advertising business working for a variety of agencies including Wells, Rich and Green in New York, Doug led the marketing efforts on brands such as DuPont, Chevrolet, Honda, Bridgestone/Firestone, Saint Thomas Health Services, Tri-Star Health System, and Singer Sewing Company. His professional experience culminated as Partner and Executive Vice President of White | Thompson | Cunningham | Regen. The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences have recognized his creative work with the award of an Emmy, numerous Ad Federation ADDY and TELLY awards, and Gold and Silver awards from the New York Film Festival.

Meghann Collins Roberts, Instructor
B.F.A, Belmont University
Since graduating Magna Cum Laude from Belmont University, Ms. Roberts has spent the last several years as a freelance print designer. Her clients have included fitness DVD celebrities, national politicians, and musicians. She is currently a graphic designer at Ethos3, a Nashville-based presentation firm, specializing in the development of custom presentations for global clients like Google, Pepsico, Fujitsu, and TIBCO.

Daryl Stevens, Instructor

B.F.A., Middle Tennessee State University
Mr. Stevens' illustrations have graced the pages of many national magazines and advertising campaigns, as well as products ranging from CDs to shampoo bottles. Keeping up with the latest technology, he is also a talented Flash animator with whimsical web graphics used by companies such as Lucent Technologies, Sports Illustrated, Knoll, and GoGorillaMedia.com.
