Emily Brewer
Emily Brewer is an interior designer specializing in residential and small commercial design. She is also an instructor at O'More College of Design. She teaches Basic Drafting and Materials and Textiles. She is always invigorated by the energy and creativity of her students.

Dale Crawford
Dale Crawford is an internationally published illustrator, fine art painter, and portrait artist. Dale acquired a BFA from the Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida. His paintings are included in many private collections, and he has been an exhibitor at the Museum of American Illustration in NYC. 

His work has been showcased in magazines, brochures, compact disc covers, calendars, gift products, and in the 1990 rendition of the children's picture book The Secret Garden. He has also designed and illustrated logos, posters, and apparel screen print art. 

Dale has done work for many clients such as MCA Records, The Opera Company of Philadelphia, Category 5 Records, Lipton Tea, Campbell Soup, Running Press, Provident Insurance, Giant Merch/Warner Bros., Buster Brown Apparel, Unison Records, Mercury Records, ArtWorks International, C.R. Gibson, and Pfaultscraft. His designs and illustrations have adorned many top selling products for such stores as Barnes & Noble, Borders Books, Costco, and Target. 

He has created artwork for Buster Brown's SNOOPY and PEANUT'S lines featuring the much loved characters created by Charles Schultz. In addition, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Taz, Tweety Bird, Whiley Coyote, and Animaniacs are among the characters of which he has painted for Warner Brothers. 

In 1998, Dale came to Nashville to work with long time friend and client Bill Barnes, the Owner and Creative Director of Barnes & Company. As an in-house illustrator, Dale specialized in versatility of style and media combined with digital techniques to accommodate a wide range of clients and markets. 

Dale currently resides in Franklin, Tennessee, and along with his wife Margaret, continues to create as Crawford Art & Design.

Susan DeGarmo
Mrs. DeGarmo has been a professional graphic designer for twenty-eight years and has designed everything from license plates to CDs and has illustrated greeting cards and books. Additionally, she has served as a partner in a design firm, an art director for a children's magazine, and the Department Chair for a design college. She has also served on the Board of Governors for NARAS in Memphis and won several awards for her three-dimensional illustrations.

Jenny Kemala
Jenny Kemala is a talented O'More instructor looking to share her knowledge with young artists.  Jenny holds several degrees and he has a wealth of experience in the ever-changing world of fashion.  She has earned many awards and has been published as well.  Her artist statement is, "It is a pleasing and rewarding experience to go through the process of creating a piece of art from seemingly unworthy material to something that is treasured".

Rachel Kirk
When she's not traveling in the desert southwest or enjoying the blue waters of the Florida Keys, Rachel works in her home art studio making work for regional and national art shows and competitions. She and her husband are currently enjoying being first time homeowners and are proud to call East Nashville home. They live with two adorable Westies.

Rachel, a Tennessee native, grew up in Ashland City and attended college at Austin Peay State University. She received her Master's Degree from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She has taught at several colleges and universities throughout the state and believes that teaching is her calling in life.

Marlo Lee
Marlo Lee grew up in Maryland and became passionate about art at a young age. She earned her degree in Art Education at Towson University and has been teaching art for the past 6 years. In 2006, she was named "Visual Art Educator of the Year" by the Maryland Art Education Association. Her summers are spent as an active artist displaying and selling many works such as mosaics, portraits, paintings, and jewelry. She also paints custom murals and décor for bedrooms. Mrs. Lee's artwork can be viewed on her website at: http://marlolee.blogspot.com/. Mrs. Lee is the instructor of Fashion & Recycled Jewelry, Portrait Play, Mixed Media and Portrait Drawing.

Sabrina Maggart
Sabrina Maggart, teacher at Ravenwood High School; Fashion Design and Merchandising and Textiles and Apparel, adviser of FCCLA, director of Ravenwood Runway, and editor of "THREADS" fashion magazine, produced by RHS fashion students in conjunction with advanced photography classes at RHS. B.S from Tennessee Tech University in Fashion Merchandising and Design, double major Secondary education 1989, has taught high school design courses for 20 years. Designer and seamstress of couture apparel for special occasions, pageants, proms, homecoming courts and wedding parties. Mother of three, 20, 13 and 11, resident of Brentwood since 1996.

Susan Page
Susan Page brings a vast expanse of experience and knowledge to the summer program.  She has a B.A. in Film and Video Production with a minor in Technical Theater from Georgia State University. She spent 10 years working in the film industry in Atlanta and Los Angeles designing and decorating sets for TV commercials, shows and theater productions. Additionally, working in the themed entertainment industry, Susan had the opportunity to design and build props for shows and rides at Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm for several years.  She went on to study Interior Architectural Design at UCLA and has worked as an Interior Designer for the past 8 years focusing on residential and event design. Susan recently taught her first course in Set Design at O'More and is excited to join the Summer Studio program teaching the "Behind the Scenes" and Model Making classes.

Anita White
Anita earned her double-major B.A. in Fashion Design and Fashion Merchandising from O'More College of Design and was awarded the Senior Achievement Award for her fashion show collection at the annual O'More Fashion Show. She currently teaches fashion courses for college students at O'More College of Design. In addition, Anita uses the Gerber Accumark system to construct patterns as the assistant patternmaker for The Bandhall. They specialize in designing band uniforms and color guard outfits. She instructs Storyboard Presentation for Fashion Design, Paper Clothes for Your Doll, Paper Play and Fashion Illustration at the Summer Studio.

Kim Zimmer
With a background in buying, marketing and advertising, Ms. Zimmer has 20 years of professional experience in the design business. As the Vice President of Marketing and Account Services for several high-profile advertising agencies on the West Coast, Kim designed marketing plans and branding strategies for successful merchants like Sony, Amazon, Starbucks and Hallmark, to name a few.  When a job transfer brought her to Tennessee in 2002, she.  decided to pursue her passion for architecture and interior design, and attended O'More College.  While in school, she gained experience with a local interior design firm and then started her own practice focusing on high-end residential, commercial and hospitality projects.

Sorrel Dugan, Program Director

Sorrel is a former Franklin High School student, who earned her Art Education Degree from UT and MTSU. She has eleven years of experience as a public education Art Teacher with varying age groups in elementary, middle, and high school levels. Sorrel's mixed media art won Judge's Pick at the First Baptist Arts Festival in Nashville. She is currently teaching at Winstead Elementary School, and also works as a designer with a local clothing company. Ms. Dugan has been a creative force behind Summer Studio since it began in 2009.
