Just as fine arts instruction will give you the background to become a stronger designer, a liberal arts education will give you a definite advantage over the training you would receive at a trade school. A designer without an understanding of the larger world—global traditions and trends—won't be as versatile as one who is better informed.

While we are primarily a design college, we also realize the importance of graduating well-rounded citizens—people with passion and the ability to make a difference in our world. At O'More College of Design, students take 30 credit hours in the areas of communications, the humanities, mathematics, behavioral and natural sciences, and business. Plus, there's a great deal of flexibility within our liberal arts curriculum, allowing you to choose the subjects that interest you the most, including unique courses like Exploring Spirituality, Marriage and the Family, Sacred Spaces, and Educational Wellness.
