Image Conservatory

The next session will begin during the Fall 2010 semester. Dates and times TBA.

The goal of the Image Conservatory is to provide students a complete business tool kit that will empower them with confidence and worth for their industry. Please note: You must attend all sessions to participate in the panel discussion and be eligible for the interviews and job placements in March.
Open to all O'More students; faculty and staff welcome.

Sessions offered:

Wine Etiquette
A local connoisseur and leading expert of fine wines, Randy Elrod, will teach you everything you should know about purchasing, handling and truly appreciating the art of wine.

Dining Etiquette
Learn how to not only present yourself properly in a dining situation, but also how to host business mixers and special events. Learn the art of social graces.

Professional Etiquette
Detail counts to land the right job. Learn the proper business etiquette that will make you stand out as the BEST among the rest. Lessons include the how to for written and spoken communication, facilitation of meetings and presentations, and formal introductions.

Panel Discussion
Based on your career choice, a team of industry leaders will be invited to sit on a panel to openly discuss career opportunities, what the ideal candidate "looks" like on paper, what experience is needed, etc. They will be available to answer any questions you may have for them.

Job/Internship Placement Interviews
By completing this program, you will have the opportunity to interview for positions available in your field of study. Human Resource representatives from select companies will be invited to meet with you in a "business/speed dating" setting, with more formal interviews to follow.
