We are an institution of higher education that believes passionately—as passionately as you feel about design—that becoming a trained designer provides a meaningful career while endowing the designer with the ability and zeal to make the world a better place to live. It is the ultimate goal of O'More College of Design to offer a distinguished academic experience to qualified applicants.

Want a quality art and design education that emphasizes individual attention? We can provide it. The college promotes a partnership with the local, regional, and global community through exhibits, programs, continuing education, and service projects. We prepare students to think critically and imaginatively, to become responsible citizens, and to develop a pattern of lifelong learning.

O'More College of Design is part of a vision—one that started with Mrs. Eloise Pitts O'More. We are an institution of higher education that intellectually and expressively prepares students to become innovative designers with the capacity to create authentic beauty. We equip students with the skills, knowledge, ability, and desire to constructively benefit society, as well as the environment, on a local and global scale. We instill purposeful design, thereby helping students become professionals.

The object of an education at O'More College of Design is to inspire each student to become purpose driven: someone who is constantly discovering, persistently cultivating, and perpetually sharing the gift of inventive thinking and purposeful design; someone who pushes the boundaries of creativity, while gallantly holding to significant and time-tested tradition; someone who believes he or she can change the world through purposeful design and sets a strategic course, with full confidence, to succeed; and someone who finds meaning in the process of growth and spends a lifetime exploring the ultimate classroom—the world.

The college, now almost forty years old, is in the process of completing a 21st century transition with the addition of new spaces, new programs, and new opportunities. It's the perfect time to become a member—to experience our growth for yourself and make it your own.
