 Accreditation
O'More College of Design is a four-year, accredited post-secondary institution awarding bachelor of fine arts degrees in Interior Design, Fashion Design & Merchandising, and Visual Communications. O'More College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT), which is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a national accrediting agency and is a member of the Council on Post-secondary Accreditation.
The Interior Design program is accredited as a four-year, professional-level program by the Foundation for Interior Design Education and Research (FIDER) , the national accrediting agency for Interior Design programs and also a member of the Council on Post-secondary Accreditation.
O'More College is authorized by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission (THEC) . This authorization must be renewed each year based on evaluation of quality of education, ethical business practices, health and safety, and fiscal responsibilities.
Faculty
 The faculty of O’More College of Design is vital to the ultimate success of our students. Therefore, the college strives to hand-pick its faculty members—individuals chosen for their skills, their knowledge, and their experience. We seek out and actively recruit faculty directly from the design world of professionals both locally and around the globe. Our goal is to secure the best faculty who can offer unparalleled teaching in the fields of design, the liberal arts, and the fine arts. Individuals who whole-heartedly support the O’More mission, vision, educational purpose and core values.
Our desire is to develop and maintain a faculty membership of highly intellectual professors and instructors who also have the ability and desire to create meaningful relationships with our student body. We hire faculty members who value each student as an individual with unique skills, talents, beliefs, and styles of learning; and faculty members who have strong ethical character and exemplify this character in their teaching. We encourage our faculty to offer service-oriented projects and opportunities to explore a variety of cultures through international travel, internships, apprenticeships, fieldtrips, and community activities.
O’More also strives to create an educational environment conducive to creative teaching and learning—providing a mix of traditional and non-traditional spaces in which students can easily learn and teachers are inspired to teach.
And as our ultimate goal, we provide our faculty with the tools they need to guide our students to find success and meaning in their chosen fields upon completion of their study at O’More.
